After the lockdown, the Organizations whether big or small noticed the need of a video conferencing

platform. Zoom App had been in demand for quite a long time and still is.

But the massive competitor of zoom has come Jio Meet.

The Most Important thing is that it's Indian.

The Appearance of Jio Meet

The appearance of the app is not an important thing for many of the users.

but recently people trolled Jio meet for having the same appearance as Zoom .

However, Jio changed it a bit and looks like this now.
They have also changed the app icon right away.

Zoom and Jio meet, both the video Conferencing apps have the same maximum participants in the free plan.

while Zoom provides support up to 1000 participants in it's paid plan.

Jio Meet - 100 participants (Free), (No Paid Plan)

Time Limit in Zoom and Jio Meet

Because Zoom has two of its plans one is paid, and the other is free.
Therefore, the company provides a limit in time for one meeting in the free version to make the users aware of premium features in the paid plan.

Zoom has 40 minutes of time limit for one meeting, you can definitely start a new meeting for another 40 minutes. This can be a problem for professional meetings.

 JioMeet has no time limit.

JioMeet being Indian brand grabs a huge amount of patriotic Indians.  

This is the reason why people are swiftly shifting towards JioMeet.

Because of the trust people have in Jio, JioMeet can quickly overtake Zoom.

IS ZOOM A CHINESE APP

The  Big question people are googling is that
Is  Zoom an app of Chinese origin?

The answer is no.

It is a bit complex, Zoom or Zoom Communication Inc is not a Chinese company. In fact it was found by Chinese-American billionaire, Eric Yuan. It is headquartered in San Jose, California. Yuan on the other hand holds an American citizenship.

Why Zoom has not been banned?

The above could be the reason why Zoom was not on the list of 59 Banned Chinese apps.

After all, I must say that JioMeet is providing better features for free and it's constantly rolling out new updates to improve the application.
